  The Spokane River

  The Spokane River runs through the heart of Spokane, cascading through Riverfront Park, a 100-acre downtown destination. The park was created when Spokane hosted the 1974 Worlds Fair.  It is a gathering place for numerous concerts and events.

  The Spokane Centennial Trail is a 37-mile paved pathway that follows the Spokane River. It begins at the state line of Idaho and continues all the way to Nine Mile Falls, Washington.
